Twilight

Quabbin Reservoir, MA

One of the best purchases I have made for my photography adventures was an insulated pair of knee high waders. I'm no longer restricted by the worry of getting my feet wet when I'm searching for compositions in the freezing cold early morning temperatures. I found this particular composition a few days earlier and waited for the day when the crescent moon was hanging in the eastern sky at dawn. It was a difficult shot to set up in the dark as my camera is about 2 inches from the surface of the water. This is a focus stack of three images. Photo © copyright by Patrick Zephyr.
