Acadia Light Show

Acadia National Park, ME

Happy 4th everyone! I’m not a big fan of 4th of July fireworks.... too loud and too many people for me.
In my opinion there are far more impressive light shows happening in the sky throughout the year :-) I would far prefer to lay on Acadia granite listening to waves crashing under a blanket of stars and watch the moon rise over the ocean. It always amazes me that I have the coastline to myself every time?
This is a special spot on the coast of Maine where I’ve watched and photographed many moonrises. I finally got around to editing one. This is a capture from this summer during our family camping trip in Maine. Thanks for stopping by. Photo © copyright by Patrick Zephyr.
