Carpet of Clouds
Quabbin Reservoir, MA
I went out to scout some shoreline along the Quabbin a few days ago to find that it's almost completely ice covered. This southern shoreline with the deepest water usually stays free of ice through the winter and is my favorite spot this time of year. Now that we have a couple feet of snow on the ground after this latest winter storm I am guessing that it's completely gone- the open water that is. I'll be waiting for some warm temperatures and rain to make things interesting again. Happy snow day to those of you in winter storm Junos path! Thanks for viewing! I always appreciate shares, feedback and comments. Photo © copyright by Patrick Zephyr.
