Familiar Jumper
Platycrytus undatus (adult male)
The male of this species was high on my wish list when I first discovered the jumpers. The first jumper I ever photographed was a female of this species that my daughter Sky found on a telephone pole. I searched for many hours with no luck finding a male. I finally found one while on vacation on Cape cod. It was on the ceiling of my mother in-laws bedroom!!! It turns out they are very common at that location and I see many there every summer.
