Habronattus calcaratus maddisoni
(subadult-male)
Almost all the native habronattus males have this red scaling on there face as subadults. This was a special find I was not expecting. When I found the spider I thought it was another habronattus viridipes male (the most common it seems in my area) but when I got my camera on him I was thrilled to see that it was a new species for me!
