Habronattus coecatus
(subadult male)
This was one I was hoping to find in the fall. The subadult males have this amazing red face in the fall. This is the oe local habronattus that keeps his red markings as an adult. I am hoping to find one this coming spring. I had traveled to the eastern part of the state in search of this species with no luck. Unbelievabley I found this one close to home!
