Layers of Blue

Cold temps without snow equals very interesting ice formations. I love to follow streams during these types of conditions and see what amazing shapes water takes as it slowly changes from a liquid to a solid. This was a very clear cold morning and the sun is just rising behind me and lighting up the forest in the background.
