I had to post something on Earth Day!! I feel so extremely grateful to have found a connection to this amazing planet that fills me with joy everyday.
I've been to this location many times to watch the sunrise. Little did I know there was another light show I just missed. Amazingly the Milky Way is visible to the naked eye all night long on moonless nights and slowly disappears about one hour before sunrise. I've always been there about one hour before sunrise and missed the show! Never again! This was a fun image to capture- I had to set my camera up on a delay and run out into the water in 10 seconds ( I guess I could have set it for a longer delay) to my predetermined spot and balance motionless on the rock for 30 seconds. I was able to find the right spot and get one that I liked after a few dozen attempts! The light is my mountain bike light. Thanks for stopping by! I really appreciate it! and Happy Earth Day!
