Phidippus audax (adult female)
Massachusetts
This is a bryantae female I found as a sub-adult this spring and had to hold onto until she molted to see what she looked like. The P audax are a variable species and the adult males and females can look quite different. The bryantae form is my favorite and it's always a special treat to see what comes out of that final molt.
