The first time I found a P cardinalis I was dancing in the forest. I know there are only a handful of people that can even remotely relate to that. I found a few locations here in MA and RI with a bunch of these spectacular jumpers. It's awesome to know they're out there and that I can visit them. This would be the time of year to find the adult female but they are difficult to locate. By mid summer the juveniles will be in abundance!! I think I'll visit them again this year.
