Phidippus purpuratus courtship display

I have been finding early instar Phidippus purpuratus for many years but could never seem to locate the adults until this spring. I found so many sub-adults in many different locations and finally had the opportunity to witness the courtship dance of the adult male!!!! Spectacular! Photo © copyright by Patrick Zephyr.
