Snow Angel

After a week in sunny warm Florida we returned to some of the coldest temperatures I've seen here in MA. I've wanted to capture an image like this in this location for a while. I knew I had to arrive about 11am to catch the sun over the island but the deep snow made the trek out to the location a bit longer than expected so I had to move quickly when I arrived. The temp was about zero with crazy wind and blowing snow. I was a bit under dressed but kept moving to stay warm. within 1/2 hour the sun had moved too far to the west and the shadow moved off to the left. It was a bonus to capture some cool clouds whipping through the sky and partially blocking the sun :-) Photo © copyright by Patrick Zephyr.
