Although the forcast called for clearing skies at sunset, as I approached the trailhead I drove through a wall of snow. My adrenaline started flowing! The sunset was 1 1/2 hours away and the western sky was clear. Possibilities! While on the shore line 2 more snow squalls blasted through lasting just a few minutes each. Here is one getting lit up by the setting sun to the west. A photograph will never fully convey what I witnessed but here is an attempt. Magic!! Photo © copyright by Patrick Zephyr.
