Star Man
Quabbin Reservoir, MA
Last night I decided to go watch the moonrise. I broke the horizon at about 11:00 pm. I've watched many moonrises but usually when there is still a little daylight left. This was my first time watching the orange ball creep over the horizon in darkness and it was spectacular. This was a particularly challenging shot because it was crazy windy and the waves were washing over the rocks and knocking me off into the water before my 15 second exposure was finished. It was still so much fun!!! Photo © copyright by Patrick Zephyr.
