Quabbin Reservoir, MA
Here is another capture from a crazy light show last winter. I have a hard time settling down on one composition when things get crazy and I know hard rare these conditions are. The magic light doesn't usually last long enough for me but on this special morning it seemed to last forever and I was able to get quite a few different compositions that I like. I always try to get at least one vertical comp with a strong foreground which is sometimes challenging. Luckily I was here about an hour before sunrise and was able to wander the ice and find a few spots before the show so when the sky started to explode I new exactly where I wanted to be and could be efficient with my setups. As always- I really appreciate the views !!! Happy mud season! Photo © copyright by Patrick Zephyr.
